This is a unique charity concert that will take place on September 8, 2024, at 5:00 PM at the Warmian-Masurian Philharmonic in Olsztyn. Together with the Polish Foundation of Knights of Malta, we have the honor of organizing this event.
The proceeds from the concert will be donated to three noble causes:
- The “Future for Children” Foundation,
- St. Michael the Archangel Social Care Home in Szyldak,
- and the Health Services Center in Barczewo.
The “Future for Children” Foundation cares for over 500 sick and disabled children from Warmia and Mazury. Many of these children were born prematurely or became ill later, but all of them need our support. The foundation fights daily against the pain and suffering of its charges, but also celebrates their successes – successful surgeries and rehabilitations. Thanks to financial support, 11 million zloty has already been allocated to saving children’s health and lives, opening doors to a better world for them.
St. Michael the Archangel Social Care Home in Szyldak provides 24-hour care and therapeutic services for one hundred people with mental disabilities. The facility not only secures the basic life needs of its residents but also implements psychiatric rehabilitation activities. Thanks to an empathetic and activating atmosphere, the residents regain faith in their own strength and try to find their place in society.
The Health Services Center in Barczewo, which is part of the Jerzy Pióro Healthcare Complex in Dobre Miasto, offers long-term care for chronically ill patients and mechanically ventilated patients. The facility provides 24-hour nursing care, rehabilitation, and continuation of treatment, bringing help and support to those who need it most.
We invite you to an extraordinary musical spectacle, which will be hosted by the director of the Warmian-Masurian Philharmonic – Janusz Ciepliński. Performers will include tenor Dariusz Stachura, cellist and singer Izabela Buchowska, and singer Paulina Grochowska-Stekla. They will be accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the Warmian-Masurian Philharmonic. On one stage, we will combine classical music, musical theater, and rock.
Charity auctions will also take place during the concert. We count on your presence and generous support, which will help us continue these important initiatives and bring joy and hope to those who need it most.
