The Institute for Social Research and Education Foundation, together with the Polish Association for Security and NATO DEEP eAcademy, became a partner of the 2nd edition of the Ełk Student Thought Exchange Forum. The event supported by these three institutions emphasizes the importance of cooperation between academic and expert communities for education, security, and modern technologies.
The conference took place on April 15, 2025, in a hybrid format on the BigBlueButton platform. Organized by the Branch of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Ełk, it had a nationwide scope and was aimed at young researchers interested in personal development and broadening their horizons.
The main theme of this year’s edition was “Determinants of individual security in society.” Discussions were conducted in four main areas:
- socio-economic challenges,
- challenges of contemporary education,
- cybersecurity and artificial intelligence,
- contemporary legal dilemmas.
The event also included an expert panel for academic club supervisors, complementing the student voice in the academic debate.
