Hero Camps 2026 – A Summer Camp That Teaches More Than You Think

When sending a child to summer camp, we mostly hope they’ll have a great time, make new friends, and come back full of energy. But what if they also had the chance to learn something that will genuinely serve them for the rest of their life? Hero Camps is exactly the kind of place that brings both of those things together.

Safety Is Best Learned Through Experience

Memorizing safety rules matters, but very few people retain them that way long-term. Practice works much better – especially when it’s wrapped in fun. The camp places children in a variety of situations within a safe environment, giving them a chance to get comfortable with areas we don’t always associate with safety – like communication, managing emotions, or working as a team. Some of the specific skills children develop at the camp include:

  • basics of self-defense and responding to difficult situations,
  • first aid,
  • assertiveness and setting boundaries,
  • emotional regulation and staying calm under pressure,
  • effective communication and conflict resolution.

All of this is guided by a qualified team with over 20 years of experience working with children and young people.

Why This Matters to Us

We work in safety education and know that the most lasting attitudes are built earlier than most people think. A child who has learned to respond, communicate and look after themselves simply grows into adulthood differently. That’s why we’re glad to see initiatives like Hero Camps bringing children’s development together with something that is, for us, a mission.

When and Where

The camp runs 24 July – 2 August 2026 on the Baltic coast in Jarosławiec. All the details and registration can be found at herocamps.pl.
